Meeting Announcement: April 20, 2002, 10 AM.

Hello Fellow Prospectors:
 
The next Central Virginia Gold Prospectors meeting will
be on Saturday, April 20th at 10:00 AM at Small Country
Campground in Louisa, VA.
 
Directions: Interstate 64 to exit 143 (Rt.208-North)...go
2.5 miles and turn LEFT at small sign onto 640 and go 150
yards and turn right at small sign on 649. Go 2 miles
(bearing left on 649) into Small Country Campground.
Campground entrance will be on the right. As you drive up
the dirt road, pavillion is on right.
 
This will be the first meeting with the new officers
presiding.  On behalf of everyone we would like to express
our gratitude to Joe Coyle, John Hakala and Ron Pope for
their outstanding service to the CVGP over the past 2 years.  
 
All the mechanics of changing officers has been done and now
we, the new officers, need your support and input so
hopefully we can help the club grow even more during our term.
 
We need  new members  for the Claims Committee--this will be
discussed at the meeting.  The Claims Committee is vital to
the club as it arranges for prospecting sites and prospecting
is the main objective of the CVGP.
